Herbex Eat-Less Herbal Tea Review

Today I would like to share my Herbex eat-less herbal tea review with you. I’ve recently bought the Herbex eat less tea with ginger and fenugreek which is a herbal tea to help me hopefully suppress my appetite and keep any cravings at bay. I don’t know if you’ve come across any Herbex eat-less reviews lately, but if you have been following my blog or social media pages, you would have noticed that I’ve been on a weight loss journey lately.

I need to make this clear, though – I am not dieting. I’m simply adjusting my lifestyle and eating habits to live healthier and lose weight in the process. I don’t know about you, but losing weight is not an easy endeavor. It is incredibly easy to gain weight, especially if you are over 40 like me, but losing weight and keeping it off is easier said than done.

But I am not giving up, and I am trying to live a healthier life. My six-year-old son is starting grade 1 next year (whaaaaat!), and I need to be around for many years still. So, I’ve implemented a few strategies like drinking enough water, reducing my intake of unhealthy carbohydrates and sugar, and eating more fresh vegetables and fruits.

I’ve also started drinking a vegan protein shake most mornings and adding a tablespoon of MCT oil daily to my water. Some herbal teas pack a healthy punch and can also assist you in your quest to lose weight. Instead of drinking carbonated drinks that are packed with sugar, instead drink plenty of water, herbal tea, and flavored water to quench your thirst. I can’t say for sure that this herbal tea will help you to lose weight. However, I have lost an extra kilogram or two over the past few weeks since I started drinking it every day. I reached a plateau in my weight loss mission a while ago, where I didn’t gain any weight, but I also haven’t lost any. Including this tea in my daily regime seems to have sped things along.

Some of My Favourite Ingredients

The reason why this specific herbal tea caught my eye is because of the ingredients. There are many herbal tea reviews out there, but I prefer to write reviews of products that I’ve actually tried and tested myself. I know that fenugreek, ginger, and rooibos tea each have their benefits as far as health is concerned. I’ve always been a fan of rooibos tea because of its antioxidant content and unique taste. Green tea is super healthy, but the taste is not so great. I’ve tried going the green tea route before, but that didn’t last very long.

Ginger

Ginger is fantastic for adopting a healthier lifestyle. Gingerol is a natural component found in ginger root and is beneficial for gastrointestinal motility. Including ginger in your diet can promote healthy digestion and prevent nausea. Even pregnant women can drink ginger tea for morning sickness relief. If you suffer from gas and bloating, then ginger herbal tea can offer relief. Ginger contains more than 400 natural compounds, of which some are antioxidants.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is native to Europe, Asia, and the Mediterranean and is useful for slowing sugar absorption in your stomach, subsequently stimulating insulin. That is why it is beneficial for those with type 2 diabetes. People most commonly use fenugreek for menstrual cramps, high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity, among other health conditions. If you want to learn more about fenugreek’s health benefits, be sure to read my article about this magical herb.

Rooibos

The best nutritional advantage of rooibos is its antioxidant content alongside polyphenols like aspalathin, which helps combat damage from free radicals that causes health conditions like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Unlike black and green tea, rooibos tea doesn’t contain oxalic. An excess amount of oxalic acid in the body can amplify the risk of kidney stones. If you have issues with your kidneys, consider rooibos tea to bring relief. Research suggests that rooibos is not only good for boosting your immune system, but it could potentially help you with losing weight too.

  1. I love the recipe idea you gave with the fruit juice. I do enjoy herbal tea, but I also like to have something sweeter, colder and more refreshing. I love that you are also on a similar journey to me. I want to lose weight, but I am not going to diet or go on some crazy exercise regime.

I’m certainly going to give this a go! Thanks for the recommendation 🙂 I’ve honestly been hitting the Coke again and I need to find something else that is healthier.

    1. Hey Lynne, thanks for reading my post. Yes, I can’t follow a strict diet and exercise regime because I know I will not stick to it. :-/ For me it works better to adopt a healthier lifestyle and set achievable goals. I also have cheat days on weekends where I enjoy chocolate or a burger, but then I try to make up for it by eating healthy during the week.
